Karlton L Howard
Karlton L Howard is the son of the late Henry L Howard and
Thelma Jones Howard of Augusta, Georgia. 

  Karlton was educated in the public school system in Augusta,
Georgia graduating from the Lucy C. Laney High School. He
obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from
LaGrange College in LaGrange Georgia. 


Karlton began his appearance on Parade of Quartets as a stand-in for his father in 1982 upon the death of his grandmother. He has moved to the position of executive producer/host of the longest running gospel program in America aired on ABC affiliate WJBF TV in Augusta, Georgia. 

Karlton received his certificate in Theology from the Augusta extension of American Baptist Theological Seminary. He furthered his studies at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina in the Masters of Divinity program.

Karlton was licensed into the preaching ministry at the Green Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of the Reverend Lessel Leonard in November 1995. He was ordained into the gospel ministry on February 23,1997 and installed as pastor of the Noah's Ark Missionary Baptist Church in Keysville, Georgia on March 16, 1997. While serving as pastor of Noah’s Ark the church God has permitted tremendous growth both spiritually and physically.  In 2006, the church moved into its new 10,000 square foot building on thirteen acres of land in Keysville Georgia.

Karlton L Howard is affiliated with many religious, civic, and social organizations. He has served on the Advisory Board for Senior Citizens Council on Aging.  He’s also served on the board of Burke County Partnership and he presently serves as Chairman of the Augusta Aviation Regional Airport Commission. He held various leadership position at Green Grove including, Director of Christian Education, Chairman of Deacons ministry, assistant to the pastor in teaching the Sunday school teachers, Revival Coordinator, and Men's Sunday school teacher. Karlton presently serves as Vice Moderator of the Noah Ebenezer Central Association.  He’s the director the Christian Education Division with the Association.  He is a member of the Augusta Baptist Ministers Conference serving as treasurer and vice president of the Tenth District of Georgia's Congress on Christian Education.  Karlton is a member of the Hampton’s Minister’s Conference, the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, and National Baptist Convention USA Incorporated.

Karlton L Howard is married to Dianne Abrams Howard. They are the proud parents of Shontay, Keith and Julius. They have eight grandchildren.
